Our award-winning Scholarship Program has shown us what can happen when ocean adventure, marine conservation, sisterhood, leadership, purpose and personal growth come together. We wanted to take what makes our Scholarship Program so special and share it with women from around the world.
This is not a traditional retreat. And it is more than a dive trip. It is an invitation to experience Coral Catch from the inside.
Every day on this expedition balances adventure with reflection. Dive the world’s most biodiverse reefs in the morning, hear from women who protect them in the afternoon, and share honest conversations over dinner as the sun sets over Komodo National Park.
Guiding your Journey
ROSE HUIZENGA FOUNDER & DIRECTOR CORAL CATCH
Rose Huizenga is the founder and executive director of Coral Catch. In 2021, she created the first all-female coral restoration team in Indonesia. What began as a small initiative on Gili Air has since grown into a women-led conservation movement with measurable environmental and social impact.

Rose received the Blue Water Heroes Award from Dr. Sylvia Earle in 2024 in recognition of her outstanding contributions to marine conservation and gender equity. The moment felt especially meaningful, as Sylvia has dedicated her life to protecting the ocean while inspiring generations of women in marine science and leadership.
Now at 91 years old, Sylvia continues to travel the world with unwavering dedication, championing ocean protection and inspiring hope for future generations. Although her schedule does not allow her to join this expedition in person, she will share a special recorded message with all participants joining the journey.

Cenna was one of the first Coral Catch Superwomen to graduate from the program and now leads the very initiative that once trained her. Since 2023, she has helped guide and mentor 24 women who are all now actively engaged in marine conservation across Indonesia.

After joining Coral Catch, Tania continued pursuing her passion for sharks through marine research and conservation. Today, she leads shark conservation initiatives that combine ecological research with community engagement.
Ribka Malise
Underwater Photographer, Storyteller & Coral Catch ambassador
Ribka is an Indonesian underwater photographer and visual storyteller whose work explores the connection between people, the ocean, and conservation. For Ribka, photography is more than capturing beauty, it’s a way to invite care and remind people that protecting the ocean begins with feeling something for it.
This is a sample itinerary to inspire your journey. The final schedule will be shaped together with the group, based on the group’s interests, experience levels, and ocean conditions.
Sat 6 Sept – Arrival · Labuan Bajo – Indonesia
Board Nataraja, settle into your cabin and meet fellow travellers over a sunset welcome dinner at sea. The evening features a personal welcome message from Dr Sylvia Earle and an intimate opening Women’s Circle for reflection and connection.
Sat 7 Sept – Coral Restoration Workshop with Superwoman Cenna
Wake up among remote islands for diving or snorkelling alongside sea turtles and reef sharks. In the afternoon, join Superwoman Cenna for a hands-on Coral Restoration Workshop with Coral Guardian, exploring reef restoration and community-led conservation.
Sat 8 Sept – Follow The Rhythm Of The Ocean
Explore hidden coves and remote dive sites across Komodo National Park. This slower-paced day features ocean swims, relaxation and a mid-journey Women’s Circle at sea designed to help you reconnect and reflect.
Sat 9 Sept – Dive With Mantas, Learn More About Sharks & Visit Pink Beach
Dive or snorkel with manta rays and relax on the famous Pink Beach. Onboard, Superwoman Tania leads an intimate Shark Masterclass, sharing her shark research and insights on moving through life with calm strength and intuition.
Sat 10 Sept – Komodo Dragons & Leadership Workshop
Walk among Komodo dragons in their natural habitat. Back onboard, join Rose for an intimate Leadership & Empowerment Workshop. Inspired by building Coral Catch from the ground up, this session explores trusting yourself and creating change.
Sat 11 Sept – Hike Padar Island & Workshop Letters Across The Ocean
Hike Padar Island at sunrise for panoramic views before your final dives. In the afternoon, join Letters Across the Ocean, a reflective writing session connecting guests with future Coral Catch scholars, followed by a final celebration dinner under the stars.
Sat 12 Sept – Returning to Labuan Bajo
Conclude your journey with a sunrise meditation session and breakfast on deck before a final quiet cruise back to Labuan Bajo.
